Heavy North is excited to announce our role on the Eagle Gold Project in Northern Yukon.
The Eagle Gold Project is a fully-permitted, vein-hosted gold Project, located in central Yukon, Canada, 400 km north of Whitehorse, and 100% owned by Victoria Gold Corp.
The shovel ready Eagle Gold Project is the most advanced project in the region and is on track to be the largest gold mine in Yukon history. The mine will produce doré from a conventional open pit operation with a three-stage crushing plant, in-valley heap leach and carbon-in-leach adsorption-desorption gold recovery plant.
Victoria Gold plans to process about 26,000 tonnes of ore per day. When in full production, the company expects the mine to produce 200,000 ounces of gold annually.
Heavy North’s scope of work, at this time, includes:
- MSE Wall Construction for Crusher Area;
- Heap Leach Sump Piping;
- Multi-plate Culvert Installation; and
- Overland Piping.
